Roger McEowen, Kansas Farm Bureau Professor of Agricultural Law and Taxation at the Washburn University School of Law, looked at five recent court cases. ¬†They included a “nuisance” lawsuit filed against a commercial solar operation, a case involving a man who shot down a drone, the Endangered Species act as it applies to “threatened” prairie dogs in Utah, and a hog feeding case that involves¬†more than a thousand animals dead.
