McEowen: Ag Law and Taxation Update

Roger McEowen, the Kansas Farm Bureau Professor of Agricultural Law and Taxation at the Washburn University School of Law, commented on three recent Kansas cases. One involved Chapter 12 bankruptcy, another had to do with the Kansas Train Roadway Blockage Law, and a third involved a court decision on utilizing a DNA test to determine lineage.  McEowen also discussed what can happen when a partner in a farm or ranch operation dies.
