Tracy Zeorian, a custom harvester with Zeorian Harvest & Trucking joined us on Friday’s Ag Issue program. Normally, the Zeorian’s would be well underway doing custom harvesting for customers into Texas, Oklahoma and up into Kansas. That’s not the case this year. Zeorian says due to the drought conditions in the southern winter wheat belt, less wheat being planted, and changes in plans with some of their normal customers, they are still at home in Nebraska. Zeorian says they will be heading next week around Lyons, Kansas to cut wheat.
